How do I create a quote?

From your workspace, describe the job in plain English in the “New quote” box and MeloAI drafts a full document. You can then edit any block, line item, or price directly.

How does MeloAI pricing work?

MeloAI proposes line items, quantities, and rates. All totals — labor, tax, deposit, and grand total — are always calculated by MeloDocs, never by the AI, so the math is guaranteed correct.

How do I send a quote to a client?

Open the document and click Send. You’ll get a shareable link your client can open with no account, view the quote, and download a PDF.

Can I turn a quote into a work order or invoice?

Yes. In the document, use “＋ Generate” to create a linked Work Order, Change Order, or Invoice in the same job — it carries over the client and line items.

Where do my company logo and details come from?

Set them once in Company profile. They auto-fill the “From” block and header on every new document.
